From Our Farm to Your Table
Here at Smelly Goat Acres, we make the most of what our land has to offer. From our yearly market garden to our dairy goats, everything we do is geared towards being local and sustainable. Obviously, not everything can be local, but when it's not we do our absolute best to make sure we source from the most sustainable options available.

Homemade Jams and Jellies
When harvest time rolls around, you won't find us sitting on our laurels. We're out there picking the fruits of our labor, (pardon the pun). From June-October, we're picking and canning wild raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries. As the summer wanes to make way for Autumn, we turn our attention to picking tasty apples for our own apple butter, apple jelly and various fruit pies.

Local Missouri Honey and Comb Honey
We’re proud to offer our customers local and delicious pure raw honey and comb honey. We offer three different options for you; honey in the jar, comb honey ready to eat or honey in the jar with a nice chunk of comb. Whichever one you choose, it's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Hickory Syrup
While the true origins of hickory syrup are a mystery, Native Americans have been distilling extract from tree bark for thousands of years for everything from medicinal purposes to making beverages to drink. The modern recipe is just as cloudy in its history. Rumor has it that an elderly man buying firewood passed the recipe along to the people from who he was buying a load of wood. Since that time, there have been many incarnations of hickory syrup, but the end result is an excellent syrup that will be your go-to in place of maple syrup.
Our hickory syrup is made here in Central Missouri, using trees from our property to make the extract. It then goes through a multi day process of steeping and then cooking down to make a true Missouri specialty product.
